Celebrating Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) at Sonova Operations Center in Mexicali (SOCM)! EHS awareness week aimed to increase knowledge and foster a culture of preventive health and safety among employees. From hearing health to fire prevention, participants engaged in different useful learning activities. At the end of the week, SOCM launched a successful initiative of a battery recycling program to allow employees to properly dispose batteries, as well as, measure remaining battery energy to determine if they are still usable. Engaging our colleagues in fun and interactive ways to practice proper occupational and health standards is a great approach to active participation in adhering to a fundamental aspect of our ESG IntACT strategy, Acting with Integrity.
