The AAA 2024+HearTECH Expo, organized by the American Academy of Audiology, took place in Atlanta in April. Colleagues from Sonova brands Phonak, Unitron US, our Audiological Care business in the US and our Consumer Hearing business with the brand Sennheiser were on site to engage with customers and share updates on our products and services. Several of our colleagues stood on the podium for different presentations on topics that included Artificial Intelligence, audiological benefits of Phonak Lumity, Lyric, Roger remote microphones and Unitron Experience Tech Tools. Jason Mayer, VP Commercial Sales at Phonak US, joined a panel of US hearing industry business leaders to discuss the future of audiology. The AAA+HearTECH Expo is an important annual event that brings together those involved in the audiological profession, providing a platform to share and expand knowledge, skills and expertise in audiology and to connect with fellow professionals. Today we announced three upcoming appointments to the Sonova Management Board: Lilika Beck, Oliver Lux and Alistair Simpson. In June, Lilika will succeed Martin Grieder as Group Vice President Consumer Hearing and Oliver will succeed Christophe Fond as Group Vice President Audiological Care. Alistair will take over the role of Group Vice President Cochlear Implants from Victoria Carr-Brendel as of July 2024. The Future of Audio Conference 2024 assembled team members from Consumer Hearing Business to envision the future of the Sennheiser brand. The event, which took place April 25 & 26 in Madrid, featured an inspirational keynote speech by Ronny Turiaf, OLY, focused workshops and engaging talks. Attendees enjoyed the social evening, which allowed global teams to mingle and transform online connections into real-world collaborations. Furthermore, team members in several categories, such as Sales, Marketing and Customer Service were recognized for their achievements. The conference was a reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together.
