I first noticed a more significant decline in my hearing following a SCUBA diving incident. I tried several hearing aids and adjusted the volume numerous times, but by 2022, I realized that hearing in my left ear had deteriorated further. My existing hearing aids were no longer sufficient. I reviewed marketing materials from three major CI manufacturers. Each company offered unique features, and I was open to learning more. I chose Advanced Bionics (AB) for several reasons.
