Lo primero que hicimos fue acudir a su pediatra para contarle lo que estaba ocurriendo. Estas pruebas salieron fallidas en 7 ocasiones consecutivas y determinaron que algo no iba bien. Me dijeron que mi hija tenía una pérdida profunda en el oído izquierdo y en el oído derecho tenía sólo un 10% de audición. Nos aconsejaron ponerla un implante coclear. Allí nos reunimos con el equipo médico de implantes, un equipo increíble que me explicaron por primera vez en qué consistía la cirugía, los pasos a seguir, las pruebas que tenían que hacerle… En abril del 2013 mi hija fue implantada con casi 3 añitos. A día de hoy, me siento enormemente feliz del paso que di ese día.
