Antes de implantarme, venía de mucho tiempo de sentirme que no quería exponerme a reuniones de personas, experimentaba deseos de quedarme tranquila en mi casa, sin arriesgarme a situaciones estresantes. The time came when the only hearing aid I was using was not enough for me, so they started talking to me about the Cochlear Implant. After a few years of back and forth, I was finally a candidate for implantation. I am currently a bimodal user and am waiting for my second implant. Before I was implanted, I had been feeling for a long time that I did not want to expose myself to meeting people, I wanted to stay at home and not risk stressful situations.
