I have just finished my 4PM remote care session with the recipient and his mum. All of us were in the comfort of our own (heated!) homes. The connection was perfect. We did only have to change his indicator light preferences, but the entire ‘appointment’ took a total of 6 minutes. I am thrilled by how well the technology worked. This was a true win/win for both family and clinician. This was not a scheduled clinical day for me, but it was very easy to fit this in to my other duties as I worked from home.
