They can show you their scar and magnet sight, you can see literally do all you do in person, data logging and impedances, and then run all the same tests you run in the clinic, NRI, mapping, and counselling, while simultaneously being able to alter the contralateral #hearingaid, all in real time, and all while the patient is in the comfort of their own home, or even on their lunch break. "Remote mapping has completely changed postoperative cochlear implant rehabilitation. It is quick, simple, and so effective. You can perform a session in a matter of minutes rather than an hour. No one needs to travel. And it is received as a patient-focused approach to cochlear implant care. "I was a lifelong recipient of @Phonak #hearingaids and always liked hearing with them.
